Virex

Find your trading system and make it stable

Virex is not a journal for journaling's sake, and not a second terminal. It is a read on your trading: what repeats from trade to trade, and what it costs you. Trades arrive from the exchange on their own — you answer one question: why you entered.

Free. All it needs is read-only exchange keys.

How it works

  1. Find what actually works for you

You tag why you entered a trade. The vocabulary is yours: setups named by someone else get abandoned within a week. Virex counts how each of those reasons ended and shows which setups actually make money, and which only look like they work.

  2. Test it on your own data

Analytics compares a selection matching your conditions — tag, direction, instrument, hour of entry — against all your other trades. The question it answers is “what if I only traded like this?”, and the answer arrives before you put money behind it.

  3. Make the result stable

Edge Score measures not the size of the profit but how repeatable it is. Together with the equity curve, drawdown and profit factor it answers the real question: has the system become steadier or not.

What's inside

Overview

The period in nine numbers, an equity curve with drawdown, open positions and the trade log. Time in position is counted separately for winners and losers — the gap between them honestly shows how you exit.

Tags

Your tagging and the stats built on it: per tag and per combination. More often than not it is not a tag that loses money but its pairing with another one — alone that stays invisible.

Analytics

A lab for selections: set conditions and see how that slice of trades differs from the rest. What matters is not the selection's own number but its distance from the baseline.

Market

The backdrop you traded against: sentiment, volume, positioning, weekday odds. It exists to tell “my system broke” apart from “the market was different”.

Read-only keys

Key permissions are checked programmatically on connect: a key with trading or withdrawal rights is rejected — that is a refusal, not a recommendation. The reasoning is simple: even a database leak means an exposed trade history, not a drained account. Key and secret are stored encrypted.

Honestly, where this stands

  • Live trades have only ever gone through Bybit. The OKX, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate.io, Binance USDⓈ-M and MEXC adapters are written but have not seen a single real trade — their behaviour is unknown, not “fine”.
  • Half the value rests on manual tagging. If tagging trades is not something you want to do, this product is not for you — better to learn that now.
  • Free for now, no subscription. The product is under active development and its sections change.

Start with a dozen tagged trades

Connect your keys, wait for the sync, tag your recent trades and come back to Overview. Until they are tagged, half the conclusions cannot be drawn.
